What's 'reasonably priced" for you folks? My parents were just here for a week, and it seems that after living here for almost 9 years, my sense of dollars is somewhat different that theirs is now. They, too, are retired and they were just amazed at the prices of things here, while I don't even look at them. Going back to your post, is $5,000 per month 'reasonable'? Is $10,000? If we have a sense of your budget, we may be better able to help direct you.

We are looking for a furnished place for $1,000 to $1,500.

Two years ago we rented a beautiful three bedroom villa that the owner had great pride in for less. It was more important to the owner to have someone like us that did not smoke or damage it and we left it cleaner then we found it.

Neil: You might want to ask this on the relocation board. There are a few people with properties to rent for longer term, however, most landlords want a 6 to 12 months lease. Real estate has changed in the past couple of years.

Try the St. Thomas accommodations section of this site, there are several furnished condos listed there. Here is a link to the page https://www.vinow.com/stthomas/accommodations/. Most provide their rates on a weekly basis, however some also mention the availability of longer stays so perhaps you could email or call and find out what the rate and time frame for getting a month or two would be.
