We are staying at the Marriott, and don't want to eat all our meals at the resort, do you know any restauarants/pub fare type places? Not fine dining, but not fast food either.
Thanks!

Friday's Shipwreck has hamburgers for 7.00 each. They are 3/4 pound and have a side.
Tuesdays Shipwreck has NY steak that is 13.50 and it is good.
Delly Deck has some good stuff at Havensight.

These places are a short ride from the Marriott. and down the hill to Charolotte.

The places mentioned above would require a longer cab ride. They are on the east end and Cabrita point.

billd: Which one is at Cabrita Point? To the best of my knowledge there hasn't been a restaurant at Cabrita Point for years now.

I believe billd is saying that Latitude 18 is at Cabrita Point, but it is really near Vessup Beach.

I would second Molly Molone's, basically an open air Irish pub. Also Cariga's at Independent Boatyard.

Nearer to the Reef: The Delly Deck (kind of a diner type atmosphere), and while you didn't mention pizza- Pizza Amore. The restaurants at Yacht Haven Grande are close and a step above pub fare.

And P.S. to billd: Charlotte is in North Carolina! 😉

Certainly check out the Frenchtown Restaurants -- Hook,Line,Sinker, -- Bella Blu - Betsy's and more. Closer than a drive to Red Hook from the Marriot and there is parking and easy walking about.

Green House and Cuzzin's in town. Gladys's for lunch (not sure if she's open for dinner).
