Hello. Can someone provide walking directions from Cruz Bay to Honeymoon Beach and Salomon Beach? It is our understanding that they are walking distance and that a taxi may not be necessary. Thank you.

Hello Rocky,

Yes you can hike to Saloman and Honeymoon Beach from Cruz Bay via the National Park trails. When you are in Cruz Bay head to the National Park visitor center, get a map of the trails that they give away. Then right across the street behind the center is the beginning of the trail that leads to Salomon and then after Salomon it leads to Honeymoon and after Honeymoon you can continue hiking to Caneel Bay. Its a fairly easy hike, I have done it several times. Great beaches. So directions are just head to visitor center, get on trail that starts behind the center (you can ask the ranger inside the center to point you in the exact direction, but it is hard to miss in any case.
