I can not seem to find a good walking map. Can we walk from the ferry dock to Paradise Point or do we have to take the skyride? I read that walking up the 99 steps we would then be 700 feet - same as Paradise Point. I'd like to avoid the cost of the skyride if possible. Thanks.

You will be more like 200 feet on the top of 99 steps. There is a healthy walk up to Paradise Point. People use it for exercise all the time.

it you mean the ferry dock at Red Hook these are on different parts of the island and are about 6 miles apart.

If you are talking about walking from Havensight then you can walk it BUT it is avery steep walk and unless you are in excellent walking condition I would not advise it.
