FYI

Vontage announced today a deal for 29.95 for the VI, starting with a six month teaser rate.. It has unlimited calling to the main land. You might want to consider this as you are probably paying about that much for local service. You also get to keep your local number.

Remember that you need a DSL line and the quality may not be that good with our wonderful Innovative service.

Don't know how long the this offer is good for.

My ATT bill has never had long distance charges to the US on it. Perfectly happy here.

If you have innovative for your DSL it may not be fast enough. When I get back I am going to check into it. Skype seems to work on my DSL connection. The issue here is that you can keep your current Innovative local number, and get long distance, and get an answering system for about what you are paying Innovative for local service only.

We will see if innovative responds. But you do need a DSL connection.
