I am reading the main focus is getting internet and cell service up and running again. I am a 10+ yr vet of the communications field and would like to offer my services if needed. I'm sure they need fiber splicers and network professionals. If I could be of value there please anyone point me to the right people to contact! Thank you, god bless

Try https://usvivoad.communityos.org/cms/irma for information on registering to be a volunteer.

And the VI Department of Labor has a tab with hurricane recovery jobs, and I just took a quick look and one includes something related to internet. Take a look https://www.vidolviews.org/vosnet/Default.aspx.
