Has anyone taken the East end bus to Redhook and walked to Coral World? I understand it's only a 10 minute walk. Any feed back would be appreciated.

Red Hook to Coral World, is close to 3 miles.
The East End bus that passes Red Hook, also passes the road that goes to Coral World/Coki Beach. You'd get off at the bus stop along the main road and walk about .5 mile from the main road to Coral World. The area is somewhat seedy.
You typically need to have patience and be flexible with time when using the public bus, as reliability isn't one of its strengths.
If you need more information on transportation options go ahead and ask, however include more information. For example if you are staying on island for a few days folks might suggest you rent a car. If you are visiting on a cruise ship what else do you have planned for the day, suggestions for transportation options can be made based on your plans.

i would suggest the 2 dollar safari taxi for that it goes in a circle from downtown past coral world to red hook and back again
