We will be visiting St Thomas for a month in August..I know its the rainy season..does it rain most the day or on and off?
Does any one have an first hand information on the location, accommodations at Blue Beards Castle..?
I have a ton of questions!
Thank you~
Someone on the VIRelocation forum recently stayed at Bluebeard's, and wrote a quick review. Look for posts by ChanelCinq, because I'm not sure which thread it was under. She enjoyed her stay there, and thought it was a good location at a good price.

August is not always particularly rainy - this site will give you some comparitive info.
Great site, exit zero, Thanks!!!
Looking at August myself, typically spending 2-3 weeks on St. Thomas. I'm surprised at some of the high rainfall amounts, as I don't ever recall so much rain during one of my stays there over the last 15 years. Then, again, I may have been on the other side of the island from where the rain was falling at any given time. The beauty of island rain.
The info on that site was recorded at the airport -- actually a lot less rainfall occurs there than the North side or along the mountain crests. And probably more rain than ever falls on the East end of STT.
Also, when it rains, it can rain VERY hard, lots of rainfall in a relatively short period of time.
