We will be staying at the Westin in St. John mid-August and would like to visit the BVI...what's the best way to do this...and which is the best island to visit? There will be 6 of us - 4 adults, one 13 yr-old and one 10 yr-old. Love to snorkel and scuba. Not interested in shopping. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

There are lots of day trips on day sail boats which can take you over there. Ask your Guest Services desk or you can take the ferry on your own.

I've been a huge BVI fan for almost 20 years. My "don't miss" spot is the baths on Virgin Gorda. #2 is Jost Van Dyke. In March my husband and I went on a day trip on New Horizions 2. It's out of St. Thomas, with pick-up on St. John.
