I am a permanent resident of US. I am on EAD but do not have Advance Parole documents yet. Can I travel to the US Virgin Islands and come back to US. I have a EAD, but NO ADVANCE PAROLE documents. I just want to make sure before I leave.
An internet travel forum isn't the most reliable source for this sort of important information.
Hello Rahul,
Have to agree with Lex, there may be someone on this message board that knows but best bet is to get in touch with Immigration Services.
The US Citizenship and Immigration Services website at http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis has several press releases in there Press Room section that make statements such as "USCIS reminds applicants for adjustment of status and other benefits to obtain advance parole before holiday travel abroad." Check out the website for information. The site lists a National Customer Service Center number of 1-800-375-5283 and state that they can answer most questions; so try them. Also call the immigration/border protection office at the St. Thomas airport: (340)774-4279.

Although I do not have all your information, I am assuming that since you have your EAD you are a foreign national with citizenship. If that is the case then you must have your advance parole document to travel outside of the country. Although the USVI is a US territory, you will be required to go through immigration and that will require you to have the Advance Parole document.
Again, I do not have all your info, so you should call immigration before traveleing.
