My wife and I will be on STT Nov. 4th...19th, We've been visiting for two week's/year since '99.

The challenge is this...new stuff to do.

What we've done in the past:

All day sail

Have visited, Mountain Top/Drakes Seat/Megans Bay/Paradise Point (sunset party), Coral World/CH /Havensight & Red Hook for shopping et...we usually put on about 350-400 miles in the two weeks (we do get around and see alot)

Have toured STJ.

Eats/Drinks, Roberts !!!!/Molly Malones/Bonnies by the Sea/Green House/Duffys Love Shack/Hook Line and Sinker/Tickles/Bottoms Up/Blue Moon Cafe/Burrito Bay/Paradise Point/Mim's/INDiGO/Jacks/Fungi's/Iggie's...We stick close to the East End in the evening, will venture more during the day.

Thinking about doing:

Visit BVI
Bike Tour of Water Island
Atlantis
Sun set dinner sail
Night snorkeling/beach BBQ (Hull Bay)

The challange is on !!!! 🙂

I realize it is more of an expese, but 2 days on STX opens many possibilities.

The Sea plane alone is worth the trip. 🙂

You may want to check out geocaching. We try to do 1 every place that we visit. We haven't done any in the VI yet but we plan on it in Oct. It does require a GPS but it is great fun. Check out www.geocaching.com. We have done a few in Georgia, North Carolina, and in Alabama. They allow you to see sights that you may not have seen in areas you have been in all your life. There are 4 on St. Thomas and 7 on St. John. Just a thought. They really are fun to do and there is a log of the people who have visited and where they are from.

Definately take a day to go to BVI. Easy access by ferry and worth exploring. You can swim with the dolphins and have an "genuine" pain killer at Pusser's just for a start.

Melanie... your entry peaked my curiosity and I have spent the last 30 minutes on the web site reading about this fun "sport"... there were many within 2-4 miles of my home. I can't wait to show this to my family, I am sure they would love to do this. I briefly looked up the ones on St. John, that would be so much fun! Thanks for informing us to "geocaching"... way cool !!!

Thanks Chris,

We thought of going to STX for a day, I thought I saw were the fast ferry is resonably priced. Does anyone know if it'll be running in Nov.? What does round trip cost?

Bassman...Trying to put this on our agenda this year. Maybe a day sail over. Is a passport with the new laws now, needed to go to the BVI.

Hey... this look's looks like fun, I'll have to research the web site a little more. This would be a blast with a small group.

If you do this in Oct. please post a report, We'd be very interested in how the quest went.
