Who's up to joining us at Paradise Points "Sun Set Party" Wednesday, Oct. 31st and or Wednesday Nov. 7th ???

Here's a few pics from last years get - together 🙂 And this was just the of the evening 🙂 🙂

We get there the 30th and while we've been to STT 5 times, have never made it to Paradise Point! The VI NOW get together sounds like fun!

I'm out for Paradise Point! Did that and the music was so loud we couldn't hear each other talk! If you decide to do a differant location, I would be happy to attend! Sorry I sound like a princess, but when I visit with others, I like to converse! 🙂

Have to agree with sherri. Was into a nice conversation with a visiting forum couple I met on the tramway but as soon as we were up top it was impossible to continue chatting and there was no quiet place to be found. It was that way the whole evening. How about Latitude 18? Nice jazz on Wednesday nights, right on the water and good, reasonably-priced food too! Cheers!

Marty, should have known you by the dirties and no drink clutched in hand. Yea for The Club to which I subscribe!

Pink, wherefore art thou, child?

November is still a long time off, but still recommend Latitude as an option. Have OnIsandTime and VILover been there? The road is a bit of a bitch but if you want to go in a convoy, meeting outside The Toad and Tart around 6PM on any of the two Wednesdays works for me and I'll be more than happy to lead the way. Cheers!

VINOW cast...standing L-R, On Island Time, Mrs. OIT, Jim (can't think of his screen name either Marty), Ann. Kneeling, Pink Coconut, Marty on STT. Hey Marty how've you been, thanks for filling in some of the names.

Paradise Point can be a loud, last year we had the farthest table from the band (close to Pirates Chest) and the music was still a bit loud. Nothing wrong with the bands but, it would make the evening much more enjoyable if it was turned down a bit. We still enjoy going up for the sunset, a couple of drinks, Coors Light 2/1 (nice) then back to the Elysian.

Latitude 18 would make a nice alternative, we've been there may times (love the road), going all the way back to the Alex days. When we tell people how to get there we say, "Turn down the road by the Montessori School take it all the way until you think your about to fall off the face of the earth, look to your left and that's Latitude 18", "Oh and there's a couple of pot holes 🙂 along the way". Another alternate could be Robert's or the pool bar at the Elysian.

STT Res. is right we have some time to plan.

Other thoughts for a meeting place?

SEVEN WEEKS TO GO YEEEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!

When we went to Lattitudes, we had the directions, 2 jeeps, 1 with the parents, with the "kids". We went so far, that I swear we were going into woods of some sort. Daughter who was driving the other jeep was really nervous about where we were going. Very hard place to find, but well worth it.

Still wish we could be there!

OnIslandTime: going back to the Alex days where Latitude is concerned? You newbies just don't have a bloody clue! Alex had the place for maybe a couple of months. It's now back to where it should be.

Another suggestion for a place we can all meet-how about Blue Moon. Beautiful sunsets can be seen there and. it's easy to find. Also, we can meet any day of the week while we are there-doesn't have to be a Wednesday. (Mrs. OIT)

I have to agree with the post saying it looks like a Coor's Light commercial. I think I would have a hard time associating with this crowd...teeniebopper beer? They probably brought peanut butter over from stateside so they didn't have to eat the maui and gawd forbid they would drink any rum. Oh well to each his own. They wouldn't like my island "The Big Virgin" either. Oh I'm just kidding!...sort of.

Now that I'll be there on Nov. 7, I'd love to join you guys, but by the time we get into St. Thomas, get the car, get to Sapphire, it could be too late to go back....but i'll keep it in mind. Any decision been made on where you're having it?
