howdy, can anyone tell me when they say 5 minutes to the beach . Is it like car five or walking five?
We are looking to come down mid june.

Hmmm, that's a really good question! I would naturally assume car 5 since, at least it seems to me on STT, we are a very car oriented island.

Outlaw,

I too would guess car 5. Walking here can be risky so few folks do, thus my vote for car. Another possible hint, at least for the many parts of St. Thomas that are steep, walking times would be quoted shorter on the downhill than on the way back up -- I can walk to Magen's Bay Beach in fifteen minutes any day but on a sunny summmer day it can take me almost twice as long to walk home!

Hey outlaw, i have a rental villa on the east end of st thomas and when you look on the rental web sight it says walking distance to beach and by that it means like 200 yards. im not sure if thats the norm though? hope that helps.
