I am planning my third trip to St. John and once again the tour director. I am in need of information on some villas. My group will be travelling in July so it could be hot unless we are high up on the moutain such as Gifft Hill, etc. A lot of the villas only have air conditioning in the bedrooms which has not been a problem in the past -- but would like advice from others. I am looking at Villa Capiz, Cielo something (?), Bongo Bongo, etc. Can everyone help me again this year?

Thanks -- this message board has been great in the past so hopefully all of you will give me your advice again this year!

Probably 2 couples -- maybe 3, but not counting on the third. We stayed at villa high on Gifft HIll last year and was very pleased, but trying to explore a little. I have some interest in the Chocolate Hole area -- but heard a bad review on this somewhere. Would like to stay somewhere in the $3000 range -- give or take a little. I have heard a lot about this Bongo Bongo villa -- but think a lot of it might be because it is new. Several people have indicated the other villa I mentioned -- Villa Capiz and another one next door called Cielo Vista (second word might be wrong). One thing that is a must is a wonderful sunset. I was thinking of moving over to the national forest area -- Peter Bay area, but was told the sunsets are not as magnificent -- so have moved higher up the hill and trying to face west. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.

I have been reading the blog that the guys that built BongoBongo have done during construction. It sure looks like it has everything you could want in this size of villa. The views looks great. Also the company that manages it looks like they have several other nice villas as well.
