I'm looking for a villa arriving Nov.18 staying till Dec.2, 06. I would like to have a villa that doesn't increase during Thanksgiving and can be approx. $1500-2000 per week. I'll be sharing the cost with another couple. The villa must allow children and I would really like a pool, but I know that might not be realistic for the price. Anyone know of any decent places let me know.
Oops! I guess I should tell ya I'm looking for a villa in St.John.
How many BR's?
2 bdrs with loft or futon/sofa sleeper in living area would be okay.
Last May we stayed at Sea Wind on Chocolate Hole. http://www.caribbeanvilla.com/sea-wind/index.html It has 2 BR's in a separate pavillion, plus a loft BR in the main pavillion. Full A/C, beautiful pool, imaculately kept, great property management company, great location - only 1/2 mi. from the Westin and 1 mi. from town. Only one problem - it appears it is more than you are looking to spend - $2500 for 4 - $3000 for 6. It's the only one I know from personal experience; however, the website I referenced offers dozens more villas - some in your price range. Good luck!

$2k per week, total?
I haven't stayed in any villas in that price range, so recommending is moreso based on my browsing of websites.
You can find villas in that range, at that time. Asking for a pool will probably detract from the decor or age of the villa. Asking for better decor or a newer villa in your price range will probably mean no pool.
VIVA Villas (VIVA is VI VAcations - a good villa agent on STJ. I have used them and been pleased. The are reputable, island based agency with a professional staff) offers the following in or just above your price range....
Bamboo Villa
Blue Heaven Rendezvous
Happy Moon Villa
