I'm looking to rent a villa, with a mooring ball on STJ for the last week of July, anyone with info please reply.
Seems plausable that someone would have a villa and a mooring (possibly in Great Cruz Bay?). We've got a pretty big group coming
and we're doing a villa/catamaran combo this trip.

Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure if you are set on St. John? However if you consider St. Thomas I own a rental villa ('Sail Away Villa" you can google to see) that sits just above the St. Thomas yacht club on the east end. It is an easy 1 minute walk to get there. I believe you can rent a temporary mooring from the club. That time of year there should be no issue w/ availability.

You're not going to find anything like that on STJ.

Ditto to Diana. It is highly improbable that you are going to find that on St. John. Now anchoring off a bay is another thing. But a mooring? Probably not.

It is not unlikely to find a mooring in July - in Great Cruz -- contact Proper Yachts - most of their Hinckleys are stateside by then.

Exit Zero gave the best advice. Proper Yachts (www.properyachts.com) is based in Great Cruz Bay and you can rent a nightly mooring from them and use their dinghy dock and landing. Also, the second best would be anchoring and there is a public access landing for your dinghy and car. That time of year there will be a decent amount of space in the harbor for sure.
