After much trail and error and frustration I've finally managed to upload 3 more vid. clips to my webshots page

Each one is a different area/level of the villa. For some reason (may have had something to do with rum) I forgot to take the camera out of its' underwater case before I taped so the audio ranges from terrible to non-exsistant, which is unfortunate because I was narrating the whole time.

However it's still some good eyecandy for anyone who's interested in the villa. The vid. clips are in the videos album, here's the link

While underwater photography is your strong point, videography certainly is not...that said, without narrative, your "eyecandy" could have been much nicer if you had straightened up the villa first...everything looked messy and "cheesy"...but it did prompt me to go the the La Sirena website...things looked much nicer there. This was no ad for this villa....stick to still photography.

Poohwear,
This was in no way meant as an ad for the villa. The clips were taken for personal reasons(therefor no reason to straighten up 😀 ....I'll own up to being a slob) but I thought I'd share them anyway. I have to say your comments about my photography really made me laugh. The "cheesyness" of the quality was due to the fact that they were taken with a still camera that happens to have a video feature on it, they were not taken with a video camera and I had to reduce the quality to make the file small enough to upload. My videography skills are actually far superior to my photography skills ( underwater being my worst as it's my newest venture). I made hundreds of sales videos of horses when I worked for a breeding farm, I actually have quite a knack for video taping and I do most of it handheld, espescially for horses in stadium/crosscountry jumping

Well, videographer, you may be, but what I meant was your clips were so shaky and you dwelled much too long on a scene, as in the porch in the 1st video. I didn't mean your videos were cheesy, I meant that the villa looked cheesy thru your lens. All the clutter, the rumpled bed, the bathroom mess. I recently took stills of our condo for family and friends and set everything up, even the table. Not a piece of anything was lying around....and I certainly did NOT take pics of myself in the bathroom mirror ! Now that was cheesy...

As I said before the video was taken for personal reasons, no need to straighted up ( that was more on the neat side for me, I could give Oscar Madison a run for his money).. I was actually doing a narritive to my sister, telling her what a time we were having, so it really is a pretty cheesy video I didn't tape it with the intention of making a public production, and did you miss the part where I mentioned rum was involved. It's a wonderful display of drunken silliness nothing more. The reason I ended up posting them was I get so many PM inquiries about the area and how close other villa are etc. Sorry I passed the mirror... it was hanging on the wall when I passed by. It was just meant for fun and I saw no harm in sharing it . I think you're taking it a bit too seriously.

Thank you for the video. We stayed at La Sirena 3 summers ago as a family. We loved the bumpy roads and the trek to the beach. So much that we decided to make our 2nd home away from home in St. Thomas. Thank you for bringing back the memories we all shared on the hammock! I thought the video was great.

Sorry must have been having a cranky day...it was really nice to post your pics which I loved....perhaps the video WITH some sound and less jiggling wouldn't have jangled my nerves. Chalk it up to a menopausal moment...kudos for your efforts!!!
