I can't stand it after being home for less then a week.

I want to go back asap.

Anyone have any first hand suggestions for a Villa near Red Hook? I just find that area so convenient.

I would like to think that about 6 - 8 of us will be going sometime next May.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Connie, private message Bluwater, she stayed in a 3 Br villa not long ago and wrote an excellent villa report. The owner of the villa reads this forum too. The home is new and furnished beautifully. I'm going to look through my favorites and see if I can find the name. I bet it's on her site we can't open

I believe the villa you are talking about is "Sail Away". You can look at it on www.usvipvillarentals.com. I think the member's name on the board is lip. It looks great, I wanted to stay there but my group overruled me (they think that being in a condo on the beach is better). I believe Bluwater did stay there during her recent trip.

Connie,
My husband and I just returned on June 9th. We stayed at Pavilions and Pools, which has 25 private villas, each with it's own deck and private pool. We had a wonderful time. Great service. Very friendly and helpful staff. I've read some bad reviews in the past about the villas not being clean. We did not have that experience. Our villa was just beautiful. We stayed in villa 121, which is a refurbished International Villa.

I will be posting a trip review as soon as I get some free time.

I highly recommend them!

Marie

Hi everyone. Yes, I stayed at "Sail Away in feb and had an awesome time getting to know that villa. What a treasure. And now - a pool! Perfect.

Sorry about my site - we migrated to a new platform (same hosting company) and my site took some "coaching" to move over.

As for Red Hook villas, I am currently trying to get a spot in Villa Fantasia in Aug 06. It sits on Cabrita point - in the direction of Sail Away. It is a privately rented villa, but looks amazing. Google it.

What's your budget? There's lots to chose from on that end.

Bluwater...i can't remember where i read it on the internet, but some people were saying that Villa Fantasia is a little bit worn and dirty...that's why i took it off my list.
