Hey again, Well I just extended my stay in St.John for 3 more days but I dont have a plan. I will be camping at Maho and then moving on to Concordia Estates(July 25-Aug.1). I was thinking of spending the last 3 days in Tortola but I dont want to get bogged down in too much travel. Also I thoght it would be nice for the fam to spend the last 2 days with some more comfort and stylee(i.e air conditioning & prehaps a real tub) . I see there are plenty of hotels and such on Tortola but I was wondering if there were any villa available for a short 3 night stay( Aug.1-Aug 4). Thanks
Typically, you cannot rent a villa for less than a week. However, if you try using the VRBO site - www.vrbo.com (Vacation Rental By Owner) you'll stand a chance because the owners may be more flexible when you rent directly through them. You may need to pay extra for cleaning because they'll still have to clean the villa after your two days - so you may want to offer that up front if you are really interested in a two night villa stay.
If you find something, let us know. It will be the first time I've heard of it happeneing - and people have discussed this and tried before.
Good luck and enjoy Maho~
Bluwater -- I just wanted to let you know that I just returned from St. John and stayed in the villa Plumeria. You had asked that I contact you upon my return. The villa was absolutely lovely and high on Gifft Hill. Please let me know what information you would like to include in your data.
CJ, do you have any pics of the villa (interior/exterior/view) that I can post publically on the site?
If so, please email to me at [email protected].
Thanks!! Sooooo glad you enjoyed it. I remember how you agonized over that decision this past winter! We were all cheering you on and telling you to "book it already!" LOL
So, when will you return?
Hi masked snorkler.
A hotel room for two nights might be your best bet. In any case, bathtubs are few and far between because of the scarcity of water here.
I will get them and e-mail to you. I will say that the actual villa pictures on various websites does not do this place justice and it has been updated! There are orchids everywhere -- owner grows them!
