Hi everyone, I've been reading this board for some time now and thought I better get involved. Been going to USVI since I was a kid and my dad used to teach summers at UVI in the 60"s. I now have my husband and son hooked and we have been comming back the last 10 years. My husband and I are comming down the 23rd of this month for our 25th aniv. One week in St Martin and one in St Thomas. No son, friends and family this time, should be relaxing. Would love to meet u all at Paridise Point the 27th. Have one question we are going to rent a villa next year for family. Never have done this always used a time share. How far in advance do you book a villa in STT? Thought maybe we could check some out while we are there. Thanks for your help . Can't wait till the 23rd feels like comming home every year.

See my "STT Trip Report". There's a couple of links to Stone Cottage and Rockworks on STT. Also some photos of Rockworks. We had a great week at RW.

The McLauglin-Anderson site has a calender of available dates. Note. It takes for ever for the calender to display .

mibarb,
How far in advance kinda depends on exactly what time of year you are planning to come with your family. If it is during season, then I would suggest to book now for 2008! If you are planning a summertime visit you can book a bit closer to your date, they tend to be more last minute type bookings, tho not always. Sometimes it is nice to know you have the villa you want way ahead of time to assure it is yours!
Since there are 6 in your party....yes, you could book both SC and RW's (which allows for some separation and privacy), but you may want to consider a 3 bedroom house instead. McLaughlin Anderson offers many 3 bedroom houses! Good Luck in your search and hope I get to meet you at Paradise Point! 🙂
