Has anyone used Caribbean Villas and Resorts Rental Co. on St. John? Any pros or cons? And has anyone stayed at Casa Ya Ya? It is in the Coral Bay area and sounds like it's relatively new. Thanks for any input.

I think Casa Ya Ya has been around for some time. I don't belive there is any a/c up there at all and, depending on when you are going, that could be an issue for you. Here's a review frm 2005 from VIOL:

We have rented twice from CV - Cinnamon Ridge both times. Not impressed with their service but they are the only ones that rep CR adn we had a large group that wanted that view and that villa. Our gruop had to do a ton of cleaning/dich/appliance cleaning and even a bit of basic maintenance on screens, doors, grills etc., each time we rented CR. Be aware that CV adds a 5% rental service chage in addition to the 8% USVI tax - just an fyi as it's hard to locate that tidbit of info on their site.

Love Coral Bay, though, it's a great area - more like what STJ used to be.
