Hi all:
I would appreicate any info anyone can give on Villa Maria or Hibiscus Gardens? Especially, was anything too outdated, was there AC problems, too hot in the great rooms w/o AC, etc? How are the driveways to these villas, are they steep? thank you!
We stayed in Villa Maria in Spring 2009. I would stay there again in a heart beat. Not sure when you plan to go, but A/C was not required at anytime when we were there (April) and I am AC kinda guy. The great room area did not have A/C if I remember correctly only the bedrooms, but I could be wrong.
The drive to the villa is easy and close to town. There is covered parking so the car/jeep stays cool. The villa is built on multiple levels so if you have anyone that cannot deal with steps I would look at another villa.
We lived in the islands in the 70s and have been returning since the early 80s. Villa Maria was my favorite spot yet to call home for a week. Great Views! Pool just right! AMAZING Sunsets! Close to Town. It is a little older than many of the villas, but it has class!
Here is our trip report from that vacation: Villa Maria
The folks at Catered To are great to work with.
I think I may have just talk myself into going back in May.
