If you are staying in a villa -- there is nothing more fun than having your own personal chef. I have one recommendation for you and one unfortunate incident to report.
We used Laura Samms at Passion Fruit Chefs. Great!!! She was able to come to our rescue at the last minute.
For my husbands 50th birthday, I contracted with Lee Prager of Chefworksvi to cook dinner as a surprise. A week before he had a friend contact me to say that he was not able to make it. No explanation. I have been unable to get my deposit of $200 back from him even though I have left numerous messages and emails.
Be aware out there -- there are some crooks.

It is good to hear that you had a positive experience with Passion Fruit Chefs and it is equally valuable to hear about your negative experience with Chefworksvi. I would apprecite a follow-up post if you ever reach a satisfactory resolution with Chefworksvi.
On another note -- if anyone is on this chat who lives in STT -- do you know Lee Prager (chef) or his whereabouts? Thanks much.

I want to mention Chef Leslie Gumbs as a private chef -he's been out to our villa and he's fantastic!
