About nine years ago my husband and I stayed at Cinnamon Bay. One evening, a young man (I think he was 17 or 18) named Victor played a steel drum concert at T'ree Lizards. He had a bucket for donations and said that he was saving up for college. He was fantastic on the drum! I am wondering if anyone out there knows whatever happened to him. Did he leave for college? Is he back? Does he still play drum on the island? Just curious... thanks.
He's all over the place. I thought I had seen a website for him. This is what I found so far:

There was an article on him recently in the Tradewinds, www.stjohnnews.com.
Hey everyone... just wanted to drop in and say hello and thanks to everyone back home in the VI for continuous support. If anyone would like to be added to my mailing list just drop me a line at [email protected]. I'm in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia right now where I instruct steel drums and administrate an arts program for underrepresented community members. I will be home to perform for a Christmas concert on St. John on the first Saturday in December... I hope to see some you there and feel free to check out my website... although it hasn't been updated in quite a while... I'll try to do better with that.
Peace, Love, & Pan,
Victor Provost
