Is there one on St John? If not is there a need for one?

Looking to relocate. I thought of the relocation board but thought it might get more input here.

There are, I believe, 2 veterinary clinics on island. At least there was a few years ago when I was living there.

To the best of my knowledge there is only one veterinary clinic on STJ which is Cruz Bay Canines Cats and Critters. A couple of the STT vets service STJ and work with the Animal Shelter there. Give a yell to Pia who posts here who would know better? Pia, dear heart?

just fyi---there's no vet on Virgin Gorda. Folks take their animals to Tortola on the ferry. It's a bit complicated for US citizens to be able to work there. Several vets volunteer to spend a week on VG occasionally to neuter feral cats.

I am also relocating to St. John this summer with my husband. I am currently enrolled in a veterinary technician certification program and would like to work as a tech on the island. Does anyone know of a need or possibility of this at Canines, Cats and Critters or the ACC in Cruz Bay.
