I'm headed down to St. John for 8 days in a little while, and I was wondering if anyone has any good side trips or advice for activities. I've been there before, but I wasn't really adventurous- we snorkeled pretty much everywhere around the island, but that was the extent. Does anyone know of any cool hikes, trips to the BVI's, etc? Thanks!

@yarta A favorite hike of mine is Ram Head Trail on the southside of St. John. It starts at Salt Pond Beach and the trail leads out to point that gives you amazing views.

Also I would do a day charter exploring the waters around St. John, nothing beats a day on the water.

If you are visiting the first week of July you have Carnival activities going on, take a look at the event calendar.
