$3800.00 In August? That seems a little steep. I don't even pay that for a 3 bedroom in December.

Note that the hotel (Westin) has rooms for $699.00 USD per night with the same view for this week ! Here, you have you own lap pool, parking (if you rent a car for the week) and the Condo is stock with food, beverages, & toiletries, plus you have access to everything the hotel has to offer. Not bad for $3800.00 for 7 days ($540.00 a night), that's an $1100.00 savings.

Ty, do you have a link you could post? I'd like to see it.

Curious as to how you can stock a condo with food and beverages when you don't even know what people like?

$3,800 for a one bedroom in August is waaaayyyyy expensive (sorry) There are many, many beautiful 3+ bedroom villa's with pool, hot tub etc available and are alot less than $3,800 in the off season (and August and September are about as off season as you can get)
I also have a "concern" about advertising that it is stocked with food and beverages - stocked to what degree - a full week of food and drink, the first nights food (like a welcome basket) or is it just the "left overs" of what the previous guests did not use ie: spices, frozen goods, unopened food and alcohol 🙂 (which is the normal practice on STJ villa's)

I was going to bust your bubble this morning but didn't want to be the first one. Here is a link to a probperty manager on St John that I whave rented from before.
http://www.stjohncondos.com/make_res.htm
They own several blocks plus manage several block of time at the Westing and have for years. My guess would be if she is renting a week in August for $2100 on a one bedroom its because thats all teh market will bare. I think you may want to reconsider your price range if you expect to rent it at all.

Here is a week in September on VRBO for $1925 for the week. By the way the view is of Great Cruz Bay not Cruz Bay.
Good Luck
Jay
