We are timeshare owners and we stayed in the villas. They are very nice. My wife and I are teachers...so we go as cheap as we can. We took our own food and cooked in the villa most nights. The Westin is great. The beach is man-made but, it is still nice. The water is not clear at the resort because of all of the boat traffic. St. John is my favorite place in the Caribbean. It is what paradise should be...no crowds, good food, great beaches, and great people. We went to "St. Trauma" a couple of days to do the mandatory jewelry shopping and to go to Coral World. I keep telling my wife that our retirement home is going to be a catamaran...that's how much we love the Vigin Islands.
