*Hi! I will be visiting St. Thomas the week of April 24th, and have been checking the extended weather forecast. According to the forecasts, it rains almost every day? Is this usual for this time of year? I am hoping that "rain" means only a passing shower?
Thanks for your help.

Passing showers.
Check out "Local News Station" post for a running dialog on the weather in USVI.

The weather is going to be "typical Virgin Islands weather"; a few cloudbursts now and then (we need the water, and you will too!), with a 20% chance of showers. This is the best time of year, weatherwise.

No one can guarantee that there will be no rain or no rainy days ANYWHERE; we have had a number of brush fires get out of control, and we are happy to finally see some rain. Plus, it will be greener, right now things are kinda brown, ya know what I mean???
