*Hi....was just a little curious about believing what vacationers reviews on places to stay??? Was on a website last night and they weren't to nice about the place i'm staying at in 5 days!!! It's the secret harbour...i'm so excited about going but....are these reviews real??? Hope not. They weren't all bad...hope the hotel doesn't read them! it's not going to discourage my husband and I...the place looks gorgeous so does the beach.Anyone out there please tell me what you honestly thought of the place..thanks...mary

I've never been there, but as far as believing what you read on message boards in general - keep in mind everyone is different - we all have different standards, expectations, etc... I will be in St John next week, stating at the Westin. I have read reviews from "don't waste your time" to "the best resort ever". I know the truth is in the middle, and based on what I expect, the stay there will be fine. Don't worry about someone else's bad experience.

Secret Harbor is beautiful. Beach is great, restaurant is great. Don't worry. It's not the Ritz but the beach is much much better and the service is better. The rooms are nice.

A friend of mine who is so picky it borders on obnoxious will ONLY stay at Secret Harbor, if that helps.
