good mroning, all - and many thanks for all your help!!!

question: where is the post office on STJ? is regular first class mail back to the states reliable?

my fiance and i are trying to decide if we should mail our wedding announcements from STJ (so we get the lovely postmark of STJ on our wedding date) or are we "safer" mailing from here in NYC.
we don't want our announcements to arrive at family and friends 3 weeks later

any suggestions?
thx all!

Since you said you don't want to risk having your announcements arrive three weeks after you mail them I would use a stateside post office. Mail sent from the USVI to the states is often postmarked Puerto Rico anyway.

I've never had a problem with regular mail down here. When we send stuff to the states its usually there within a week. The only problem we run into is shipping boxes which can go by boat, and I think its a rowboat.
