Just an up that the Monday USAir flight STT to Charlotte was delayed from 5:15 pm Monday nite to 6:10 am Tuesday morning bc of engine trouble. USAir had to send another plane to take the passengers. Some of us gave up about 10 pm, left the airport and got a room downtown. Came home Tuesday nite instead. The people on the ground tried to be helpful but USAir was handing out misinformation. Moral? If you go to the USVI plan on being flexible.

Did they pay for your room, at least?

I've had a USAir cancel my flight out of STT....but they paid for us to stay at the Marriott....and they paid the taxi fees.

They didn't offer anything except free pizza but I'm going to pursue it.
