Hi all,

What is the best place to stay in STJ for under 100 per night? We're considering St John Inn (www.stjohninn.com). Any opinions on this place?

My plan is to spend a few nights "roughing it" in St John and then round out the trip at St Thomas at the Ritz. (It's the only way I can fit Ritz into the budget!)

Thanks so much,
Stacy

Here's a list I put together. Haven't updated it in a while. Probably the cheapest deal on the island (and for a certain few, the very best possible location) would be to bring your own tent and camp at Vie's.

I've spent 2 nights at St John Inn (before our house was available) and both times it was great, free breakfast in the morning - juice, coffe, cereal, muffins etc, clean rooms with a/c and small fridge, short walk from "town" (great after too many painkillers),small pool, beach chairs and towels provided. I think you would be comfortable there and it's not "roughing it" in the camping sense yet is still affordable.

When do you plan to travel? St. John Inn in Feb. was $155 a night. Think that it depends whether you are going in high or low season.
