I was just wondering if there were any pharmacy type stores in st Thomas like Rite aid, Eckerds, ETC. where i can buy my hair care products and stuff when i get there rather than have to pack them and check my luggage.I have a connecting flight and i'd rather not check my luggage and risk the airline losing it..................................THANX
there are pharmacy type stores -- not the big chains though -- K-Mart has a number of aisles of products too.
You can also purchase shampoos and things like that at any of our grocers. Ask your lodging service provider if they have a provisioning service, and those items can be on hand when you arrive. Villa rentals and Ritz-Carlton Club do this, but ask! It can save you the stop on the way in or dashing out to get stuff and you can just start your vacation.
Oh, and if you can get small (less than 3 oz.) versions of your faves, you can put them in your carry-ons as long as they are in a quart sized see through plastic bag.
We decided to try carry-on only two trips ago. We'll never go back to checking our bags again.:-) We stopped at Kmart and got everything we needed and then we popped into Plaza Xtra for some groceries. Well, we found that we could have got toiletries there too. Perhaps not quite the selection, but everything we needed. Now we just stop at Plaza Xtra.
Thanx so much for that info. My husband will be so happy. He hates when i have to check my luggage, but for some reason my hair care products and stuff take up one suitcase alone............................LOL
