*Next week we are going on a cruise that goes to St. Thomas. Is it possible to go to trunk bay from where the ship docks in the 10 hours we have. Also how much does it cost to use the ferry and are taxis easily available on St. John. We would rather go over there by ourselves instead of using a cruise tour. Also, are there any nude beaches on St. John or St. Thomas?

Thanks
Adam

you can take the ferry from downtown to st. john . taxis are easy to get when you reach st john just walk off the boat and go left the open air taxis are the cheapest. i dont know of nude beaches but thats not to say there are none.
good luck

Hello Adam,

Yes it is possiable to visit St. John and Trunk bay while on island for a day - cruise ship.

Visit the cruise guide at

https://www.vinow.com/general_usvi/cruiseship/

there is information there on the two options for ferries to St. John. taxi rates and time it takes....

Ferry is either $7 or $3 one way depending on the one you take. Ferry schedule and information at

https://www.vinow.com/general_usvi/interisland_ferry/

Taxis are readily available right at the ferry dock in Cruz Bay.

Nude bathing is illegal in the USVI.
