*Hello, thanks in advance for your help. I'll be docked in Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas on Jan. 20th 2005.
My ship will be in from 7:00am till 6:00pm. I REALLY want to spend time at Trunk Bay. I am a photographer and Trunk Bay looks to be AWESOME!!!! -do you agree?
I can do this on my own ...right? HOW?
Truely thankful for your advice.
-Nicholas

Taxi to Redhook
Ferry to St. John
Taxi to Trunk Bay beach

That will do it for you.

While Trunk is the photographer's standard, don't pass up the other North Shore beaches along the way. Not sure what you are looking for but they all are special in their own right.

You would prbably be better off renting a car in Cruz Bay so that you could go to Trunk and then explore...you find some incredible photographic opportunities on STJ...STT, too!

Hello Nicholas,

If you go to our cruise guide section at:

https://www.vinow.com/general_usvi/cruiseship/cruiseguide_page1.php

At the bottom of that page it gives details on taxiing from the cruise dock to either Red Hook or Charlotte Amalie to catch the ferry (cost, time it takes ect.) and then a description. It is easy to do on your own.
