If you arrive before 8 or after 4 no need to pay right?? Are there any gates which require a ranger/operator to open? Leaving tomorrow for 1st time to the USVI. Planning a few things for sure, but also want to RELAX and drink rum.

Hi Phil! We got to Trunk Bay at 7:50am and the booth wasn't open yet. There were only 2 other people on the beach, till about 9am. It is exactly a postcard beach. By 10, we were swamped with cruise ship folks, and we moved on to Cinnamon Bay. Spent 2 hours there, then went up to Maho and Francis. Finished with dinner at Maho Bay Camps, EXCELLENT!. All in all, a really nice day!!

Hi Phil,
We will be arriving at St. john this Sunday for the 1st time. I have checked the cruise ship schedule and find there are no ships in STT the end of the week. Should be quiet around Trunk then...
See you at a bar? You'll be the one drinking Rum....

Hello,

Right, if you arrive when the booth is closed then no-one is there to collect the fee. There aren't any gates.

If you do pay the day use fee the same ticket is good at Annaberg for that day.
