It's a good thing I wrote this down or would have forgotten much. Let me know what you think!

December Trip Report

DAY 1

Up at 3AM, pickup via Great Bay Limo at 4AM, and into Boston to catch the 6:15AM flight. Goes smoothly and we arrive in St. Thomas at 2:15PM. Walk the tarmac and into the airport to be greeted by Rum Shot (?) Lady. Down she goes! Get our bags and taxi to Red Hook. Catch the 4PM Red Hook to Cruz Bay ferry and make our way to St. John. Heartbeat slows down a few beats as our eyes rest on the picturesque vistas of St. John. Good to be home again.

Move into our harbor-view villa at Gallows Point Resort, open the doors wide (all 8 of them), and chill for a bit.

Where to eat on our first evening on St. John? Happy Fish Sushi is the call. Stroll thru Cruz Bay, meet MJ at Joe’s Rum Hut (you’ll hear this bars’ name again) for Vodka Mojito and Painkiller for our 1 mile walk to Happy Fish. At 8PM we’re lucky enough to score seats at the sushi bar. Order a round consisting of Extra-dirty Martini and Painkillers. Relax. Watch chop-sockey kung fu movies projected on the wall. Hungry, we get the Taj Maki (recipe) and Spicy Salmon/Shrimp Donbouri. Now we’re in heaven. Tasty! Tasty!

Around 11PM we stroll back into town, stop at Joe’s for a Bushwhacker and Painkillers. Off to climb the hill to Gallows Point Resort. Nighty.

For the next 9 days, you can read it here: http://stjohntraveler.com/trip-report/december-trip-report/ (I didn't want to take up too much space here!)

Cheers,
John
