Sunday Mothers Day, went to Sapphire Beach. My favorite beach on Stt. Sure the bar is closed & restaurants but they do sell burger s and pop. It's still the most beautiful beach with all the colors of blue in the water. Met a very friendly Iguana. The guys from the dive shop were feeding it. I got my husband a new set of trunks this year. They have hibiscus flowers on them however they are dark blue not red. The iguana liked them too and made himself at home on his butt. We were quite the attraction on the beach. I have now added pictures of this on photobucket.com/mibarb. Was the funniest thing I've ever seen. He stayed for awhile then walked off.

Our son & my nephew got there scuba certifications done in Stt. They did the book work on line so just had to do open dives in Stt. For 2 days we dropped them off at Sapphire. They are both so glad they did and had a great time diving. I've enclosed some pictures they took.

My Stepmother and brother came in on wed and stayed at Emerald Beach for 3 days. The room was fine except the phone didn't work or the safe. Thank goodness we all have cell phones. This was the only problem we had with the villa our cell phones wouldn't work (kept roaming) however we had a phone in house that worked. As soon as we drove down the hill they would start working.

We had a great BBQ on Thurs. at the villa. Dave met everyone at Utter Delight and had them follow him up to the villa. It was the 8 of us and 2 of my dads friends from Stt we visit every year. A good time was had by all catching up and enjoying the views from the villa. I really could live like this. Too bad it's way out of our price range!

On Sat the 17th the 8 of us moved to Magens Pte Resort. We had 3 rooms. Have stayed here many times thru RCI. The staff was very pleasant, had new towels every day and the Restaurant is still great. Was a little bit of a let down from the villa but we knew that and just stay here for a place to sleep till we hit the next beach. Beware they charge $10 a day per person for energy surcharge and $28 for the week for the phone if you use it or not. More later.
