We arrived on St. Thomas on 5/4 . Just gorgeous ! We took usairways
from atl to charotte then to SST. Rented a car (should have been
a little bigger- tight squeeze). We stayed at Sugar Bay and were
married at the resort on the beach on 5/6. We went shopping on
Thursday in Red Hook , words cannot descride the beauty on the
islands. It was very crowded at Havensight Mall,There were 3 cruise
ships in port. We at lunch at Delly's Deck at the mall. We also went up to paradise point - amazing !!!We mainly ate at the resort
(all-inclusive)but did check out the local areas. In some sections
it did remind us of New Orleans at Mardi Gar. The journeys spa at Sugar Bay was faboulous. We also went to 99 steps, and the great
Magens Bay we stayed here most of the morning on Sat. The sunrise
everymorning was so amazing and beautiful. Such a great way to start each day. We did BOB underwater adventure loved it !!!
We actually were supposed to go out at am but they overbooked
and we went out pm and they threw in free tshirts for our trouble.
Eveyone we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. We also
ate at Off The Hook in Red Hook - great. We did have wait to checkin at the airport . Make sure you get a customs form when
you fly in and fill it out as you go. Great wedding and great
vacation. We will be returning !!!!!

Congrats on the wedding. Thank you for sharing.

How was Sugar Bay as far as your rooms/the resort and also the wedding planner?

We stayed in building D,deluxe oceanview, which was recently remodeled. King bed , cherrywood type of furniture as well as
a wicker chair and settee . Bath was bigger than our bath at
home. It was done in a light beige marble tile. Great water
pressure. Room was very clean no sign of ants or other critters.
On our second night the power must have went off briefly and we
did have brown water first thing that morning. One maintenace
issue we did bring up was the vanity light had one working bulb,
the others two had blown. They did come to fix this while I was
getting dressed for the wedding. They did not return to fix this
matter. The allinclusive bracelets were a nuiance but we managed
and got used to them. Seems like they could just give you a card
instead of the bracelet. Towel card - seemed kind of funny again
we managed . Our wedding coordinator was Lorna Richardson.
We mainly emailed each other but she made everything perfect.
Naomi actually helped with the ceremony itself.
again perfect !!!
