Day 5- After sleep aboard we were checked out on the Bahia 46. This was the 4the time we had chartered a 46, it is nice to have 4 heads and certainly used the a/c last night. Headed out with intent to either anchor at Leinster or Francis. Decided on Francis, quite a bit of chop, snorkeling limited due to visibility. Hosts advised us of possible high winds and suggested to moor in the Northern part of the bay. Had spaghetti dinner aboard with wine and rum punches.
Day 6- Headed to JVD, a easy 5 minute process to clear customs. Took taxi over to White Bay and had lunch at the Soggy Dollar. The hamburgers were ok, but the fish was wonderful. As always the "painkillers" took a toll on everyone. Back to the boat and made reservation at Foxy's for dinner. We had heard that Eric Stone, was playing at Corsairs and went in to listen to him. We wound up having Vinny cancel our reservations at Foxy's and eating at Corsairs. Food got mixed reviews but the entertainment was great. We later walked down to Foxy's and it really was dead. Looks like Eric is pulling a good crowd at Corsairs.
Day 7. Time to restock some provisions and wives want to do some shopping so we head to Sopers hole to stock up on t-shirts, hand bags and hats. The best t-shirts I have ever had come from Pussers stores, they last a long time and are made of great quality. Of course while the wives shopped painkillers were in order at the bar. We then headed up the channel to Marina Cay. Wind was right on our nose so we motored alot of the way up. Wind constantly around 20knts. Disappointed that Michael Bean was not playing on a Sun night and in fact the upper bar was closed. Had dinner ashore and once again it got mixed reviews. The positive was that the service had improved since our last trip. More to come later.

Did you charter your boat with a captian and cook? We have been wanting to charter a boat for a week or two with all of the kid's but we are only familiar with boating along the Mississippi River.
