Hi all,

We have booked a trip to St. Thomas for the upcoming labor day weekend 08/29-09/02, but a little concerned about the weather. It looks like it will be raining all weekend and on Monday. How concerned should we be? I understand rain is usually momentary, but it looks like the weekend is cloudy with thunderstorms throughout. We may want to reschedule the trip for another weekend. Any advise would be appreciated....

Thank you.

Okay, now that I have your attention, most of the time the weather reports are wrong or it'll rain on one side of the island and not the other or there will be a brief shower and it passes.
Weather channel on DISH TV is 214 and gives tropical weather updates at 20 after and 50 to the hour. They are pretty good on storm forecasts but quite often have seen predictions for 90% chance of rain and not a drop has fallen.
