Hey there everyone!

Since I will be the 3rd wheel traveling with my best friend and his wife, I was hoping someone could point us in the right direction regarding night life. It would be great to find a few places that offered fun for them as a couple and fun for me as the single guy traveling solo in STT.

Many thanks, looking forward to our mid-May trip.

Too bad you won't be in STX because our friend (female) is going to be with us for a week in mid-May (as the 3rd wheel)!! We are leaving from Tampa May 12th. We live in Indian Shores and she is flying from Chicago to join us. If anyone has info in STX night spots (same criteria) please let us know. Thanks.

Thanks Tampa friends Sandy and Bob. Yes, too bad. Enjoy your trip and if your plans take you to STT let me know and I'll buy you a few rounds. 🙂

Anyone willing to share night spot suggestions for STT and STX?

Thanks all

Try The Greenhouse Cafe downtown. Always a mixed croud here. You must check out Duffy's Love Shack in Red Hook. A crazy place in a parking lot but don't let that fool ya. This place rocks.

Bob, I'm glad somebody liked Duffy's as much as we did. Keep in mind that we are young 50 year olds, but that didn't stop us. We were staying at Sapphire Beach Resort and ended up there 4 nights out of 7. Great drinks, good food. fantastic music. Dancing, the bartenders were great and i even got a fake tattoo (if you know what that means). It's so much fun to feel young again and at Duffy's everybody is the same age (mentally)

Connie, We are in the same age group, I think. Or we should be, I mean I always have trouble remembering how old I am especialy when it comes to what we should do or how we should act. Duffy's is just a we-ha! type of joint. Always a great time and new sights to behold. We also stay at Sapphire Beach Resort, Early Feb.. Yea I know what a fake tattoo is at Duffy's..

I agree with everyone so far that Duffy's would be a place to hang! My husband and I are young 35 and 42 years old respectively and had a blast every night we attended! Friendly crowd to possibly even meet and mingle.......cutie gals there to choose from.....most of time bombed off their _ _ _! 🙂
