I'm still looking for a place to purchase vacation insurance in light
of the threats by USAir to file Chap. 11. I wouldn't mind if they
suspend flights once we are there but not before we leave stateside.
What better place to be stranded for a few months.
There is little to no chance of you not getting a ride to STT on US Airways. The Chapter 11 issue would only be to get creditors to back off for a period of time. The operations would continue as normal. It is very apparent the US Gov wants to keep them in the air when the Senate voted 91-4 to keep the funding alive. Don't worry or fret and get on the plane and go enjoy yourself. However, I also don't think you will have a chance of being stranded either! Don't waste your money on insurance, buy their stock instead! Have a great vacation, see you there in June!
