*Do you need passports to go from one island to the other if US citizens entring from the usa? Can you use lap tops on these islands?

No need for passport if going from STT to STJ. Both are US territory. And yes, you can use laptops.

Can anyone tell me how long it takes to get from St Thomas to Trunk bay by ferry and then taxi. We will be on a cruise and I am trying to plan the day but unsure of time frame from port to trunk bay. Thanks

Port to Trunk Bay... hmmm I would guess this....
driving from Havensight to Red Hook -- I'd give it 30 mins max
ferry from Red Hook to Cruz Bay -- 15-20 minutes
Cruz Bay to Trunk Bay -- 15 minutes

I'd also allow time to wait for the ferry in Red Hook, and time for finding a taxi in Cruz Bay (which wouldn't take long)
