I'm traveling to St. Thomas with a group of 12 people. We're debating on whether we'll rent a couple of cars or just depend on taxis for transportation. What are your thoughts on such a large group depending upon taxis for travel. The car rentals will run approximately $650 for our entire stay of 5 days and 4 nights. Thanks for your help!

Depending on where you are staying. A taxi for 12 persons isn't cheap. If the fare to going to dinner is $10 then it is $10 times 12! So, $120 to dinner, and $120 back, and if you stay out past twelve, more like $150 or more back! Rent the cars. WIll be cheaper in the long run.
