How much time should we allow? Would 3 or 4 hours be enough time to walk, spend time on Honeymoon Beach, maybe visit Fort Segarra? Is the Island really pretty , untouched, relaxing? Thanks for your input.

3 to 4 hours would be enough depending on how many places you explore and how leisurely your pace. There's no commercial activity on Water Island except for Pirates Ridge (where you can stop and get something to drink and eat - there's a walking path to/from Honeymoon Beach & Pirate's Ridge). Private homes. Very little traffic. You'll enjoy the exploration. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
