Okay, I commented on my list and carib asked about it so...Here is the list of things we do when friends/family come to visit, not in order of importance, but in order of thinking about them!
1. Magen's Beach: best long walk and lapping calm water. Don't go on Sunday because of the noise...
2. Beach bar tour: get in the car and drive around stopping at as many of the following as you wish- (usually start in Red Hook area)- Fungi's, Magen's, Hull Bay Hideaway, Island Beachcomber, Coco Joe's at Morningstar, Iggie's at Bolongo, Blue Moon, Arthur's or Bonnie's on Cowpet, back to Red Hook for some dinner. You can take a partial tour, too... Alternative is the Frenchtown dinner tour: Hook, Line and Sinker, Bella Blu, Epernay, Tuscan Grill, Betsy's, Noche and Craig and Sally's.
3. Paradise Point on Wednesday for happy hour especially when there are cruise ships in- it is fun to watch them leave the dock and then watch the sunset. Take the tram up- free Wednesday night. Hang out at Offshore or Shipwreck in Havensight when you come back down. (mainly for the younger crowd.)
4. Coral World: I love the room where the fish swim all around you as wonderful classical music plays. If there are small children visiting, they love feeding the stingrays!
5. The Reef Bay Trail: you learn a lot, see a lot, and you don't have to walk back up!! Fun boat ride at the end.
6. Shopping downtown with lunch at Cuzzin's: Hey, the local merchants need some support! Besides you will be dazzled by all the bling-bling.
7. Dinner with a view: Banana Tree, Mafolie, Oceana on St Thomas or Zozo's on St John.
8. Boating: Either a day sail or a BVI sampler (New Horizons or Stormy Petrel/Pirate's Penny).
9. Golf at Mahogany Run for the golfing fans.
10. Check the Island Trader and/or Weekend Guide for something special while they are here- bands, special events, etc.
Well, you get the idea. Anyone else have a list?

East Ender:
My last trip in May my buddy took me to Cruz Bay golf, awesome putt putt course on St John with a great view and a waitress to bring your drink orders at every hole, the bar and grill at the top of it was cool too . The food was good AND reasonable. It was a blast and I dont even really like golf!

I don't have a list, but when I visited earlier this month with friends, we enjoyed taking the car ferry to St. John, cruising around the island, beach-hopping, shopping in Cruz Bay, and sipping frozen cocktails at a local restaurant. It made for a great day!

Great list East Ender! We plan to do a lot of these this week.

I would add for the adventure minded, to introduce your visitors to a new watersport such as diving, jetskiing, windsurfing or the like. Also a driving tour of the island stopping at all the scenic lookouts, preferably at sunset or someother time when all the taxis and tour buses are not doing the same. Milkshakes at St. Thomas Dairies/Udder Delite. Local BBQ at Coki Beach. Sapphire Beach party on Sundays. An Art gallery tour, stopping at Tillet Gardens, Mango Tango, Kilnworks. The list could go on and on!

Good list Eastender. I'll pick up a few things from that. I second Udder Delite and would like to add a stop at that scenic lookout above Perseverance Bay. The one with the benches. This would be the second lookout past the university as you drive west away from town. From there you can watch the planes land as well as a fantastic view.
