Thanks Sharon 🙂

I have been reading your posts today - great to read during a rainy Wednesday 🙂 - and you don't say where you are staying - villa or hotel? I think you are close to Cruz Bay and was wondering if you will encounter Jacobs Ladder or not 🙂

Oh, one more thing, no need for jeans or collared shirts here 🙂 shorts will do fine, jeans will be way too hot for this time of year, along with t-shirts and flip flops. If you want to "dress up" for a "nice" dinner out just change that to nice shorts, polo shirt and nice flip flops (gotta luv STJ) and that would be for the "dressier" restaurants like Chateau Bordeaux, ZoZo's, Asolare etc although I have seen people dress up more for those places (usually the newlyweds or people who don't do their research - always fun to see a lady in stilettos trying to navigate our non existent side walks 🙂 ) but it is not necessary - they won't turn you away 🙂 Morgans Mango, Fish Trap, Lime Inn etc all are casual.

Happy packing - and remember the rule - pack and then take half of it out 🙂 If it won't fit in a carry on you won't need it on STJ 🙂

(Can you tell I'm into smiley faces today 🙂 )

Hi Pia, so which one of these restaurants are we going to hook up at in November? Just kidding for now, I needed an STJ fix but we ought to plan something via hotmail later this year!

Hi Karrieb 🙂

Good to hear from you.

Any restaurant is great with us - you know me I can eat anything, anywhere, anytime 🙂 (oh, along with a Lime n Coconut)

Hope all is well with you guy's - looks like TS Chris is over....... whew, just some rain about an hour ago now all clear 🙂 although I hear the ferries may stop running tonight at 5pm - who knows if it's true or not - I guess time will tell.

Talk to you later

Pia

We will be staying in a condo on Frank Bay, I figure by that you will know exactly where. Glad you like my posts! Glad the rain has gone too! From the radar, it looks like it is right on top of you still! Guess I need to go buy some 'fancy' shorts to wear in the nicer restaurants, instead of the jean-types I have! It is so hard to find nice stuff to fit my lard-a*s! Hubby has some dressy shorts. I am bringing some good sandals that are somewhat dressy. I am packing just the minimum in our carry-ons, but did add extra medications such as Pepto-Bismol, Advil, band-aids, Benadryl, and that prescription cream for bug bites, etc. Of all things, I am 'allergic' to the sun, so I am bringing lots of sunscreen. My fear is the humidity over there! Here in Texas, it has been running 100+ degrees with about 45% humidity. I am seeing 65% humidity over there! Whew! At least the 80's is way better than 100! I hope this lunger can hold up to it! Thanks for the tips!

Hey Sharon

Your jean type shorts will be fine - I thought you were bringing long jeans - way too hot for those 🙂

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news........but it's pouring of rain right now - good news is it will be gone by the time you are here and the cisterns will all be full, yeah.......:)

Aww, great that the jean type shorts will be good enough. I am tired of shopping for the trip! I was going to wear a pair of long jeans, so I am glad I found out it is too hot for them! Aww, hate to hear it is pouring down. Hope it doesn't flood and cause damage! Take care!
