To Gallows from Ferry Dock?

Three more weeks til we arrive and would like to know the best way to get to Gallows point from the ferry dock. Has anyone met the complimentary shuttle? Is it easier to walk (even with luggage)? Thanks for any commentary!

good morning bridget
last week i had friends visiting me on stt and they stayed a night at gallows point. beautiful resort and they will pick you up from the ferry dock. if their vehicle is not at the dock,phone 340-776-6434 and they should arrive shortly. however, phone prior to your departure, and they will be waiting on you...800-323-7229.
my friends had a wonderful stay and all the resort folks were eager to please and very helpful.have a great time.

the walk from cruz bay to gallows isn't too bad, however the last part is on an incline and may be challenging with luggage. also the narrow road does become busy with traffic and no sidewalks the lag also. take the shuttle..may need to wait for other passengers but the delay isn't long.but you can also take a private taxi for 3 dollars/person plus depending on the number of suitcases.
